ABOUT INFOLINK AND ADSENSE

In my experience, using Infolink ads in a certain way will negatively impact your AdSense earnings,
bounce rate, and visitors overall experiences in general.
The Problem with Infolinks-AdSense Combination

1. Double Underlined Links are tacky / will raise bounce rate. Especially, if they're all jumbled together in one area.
2. Too many links on a page also looks tacky - makes the page harder to read.
3. If intext ads display directly before your AdSense ads, they'll likely steal clicks from higher paying AdSense ads.
4. Displaying Infolinks all over your site is a bad idea.

Solution to Above Problems
Although I am still using Infolinks, I decided to obey a few rules:

1. Use "Dotted" instead of "Double" Underlined Links.
2. Keep max number of Infolink ads on one page to 4 links.
3. Use Infolinks "On" and "Off" feature to stop Infolinks from displaying ads before in the paragraph before your AdSense Ads.
4. Display Infolink Ads only in main content area.

Conclusion
Just like AdSense adverts may steal your chance at making a more profitable affiliate sale - infolink
ads may steal your chance at receiving a profitable AdSense click.

And I don't know about you, but $0.30 per click (in some cases) is way better than .05 per click.
